Repertory Company
Repertory Artists are hired for a full season and will be utilized throughout the year in a variety of Main Stage and Second Stage productions. Repertory artists are contract employees. Typically we hire 4 male presenting and 4 female presenting actors, a stage manager and several designers for the season. These artists need to commit to the slate of performances and will be selected for roles early in the season allowing them to prepare.
For those wishing to become part of the Repertory Company, please submit resumes to [email protected] which should include a headshot. Auditions for the company are by invitation only and should be received before July 15th.
Internships
MST offers a variety of unpaid internships. We reserve these positions chiefly for local high school students, and students from University of Alaska and Alaska Pacific University. Interns fill positions as Assistant Stage Managers, Running Crew, Board Operators, Supernumerary Actors, Shop Builders and House Management.
Prospective Interns should send a letter of intent with an attached resume. Interns are accepted on a rolling basis.
AUDITION!
Open auditions for all roles in this year’s productions of “Pyrates!” and “Monster School.”
September 6th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the MST Studio. 3020 Minnesota Dr. Ste. #22.
Auditions will be cold readings. ALL are welcome. No prepared monologues or experience is necessary.

Whether you are cast in a show, or are one of our production team, you will be given a contract to work with us. Please read it carefully before signing and ask any questions you might have.
Typically, we like to hire actors and techs for a season, instead of show-to-show. Pay is as an independent contractor. Your pay and work expectations will be outlined in your contract.
Some employees will be direct hires to Midnight Sun Theatre and will be paid as hourly or Salaried employees. Employees and Volunteers are subject to background checks and must adhere to our ethical practice policies.
